About Course

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Microsoft 365, Copilot, and AI-powered agents. It introduces learners to the foundational concepts, core services, and administrative controls of Microsoft 365. It then builds upon this foundation by exploring how Copilot and agents can utilize AI to automate tasks, enhance collaboration, and personalize user experiences across the Microsoft 365 suite.

This course is composed of two Learning Paths – one that introduces to Microsoft 365 and Microsoft 365 administration, and another introduces Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot agents and administration of each.

Course Content

Module 1. Introduction to Microsoft 365 core services and admin controls
This module provides foundational knowledge and practical guidance for deploying, configuring, securing, and managing core Microsoft 365 services—including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Copilot, and the Microsoft 365 admin center—while establishing robust security, identity, compliance, and role-based access controls across the organization.

  • Examine Microsoft Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Establish security, identity, and compliance foundations
  • Assign admin roles using role-based access control

Module 2. Explore Microsoft 365 security foundations
This module provides a comprehensive overview of Microsoft 365 security foundations, guiding learners through Zero Trust principles, integrated security tools, layered protection strategies, threat intelligence, identity and access management, and best practices for maintaining a secure cloud environment.

Module 3. Protect and govern data in Microsoft 365
This module provides a comprehensive overview of data protection and governance in Microsoft 365, equipping you to understand and manage sensitive information, compliance, risk, and secure collaboration

Module 4. Explore Microsoft 365 Copilot and agents
This module provides a comprehensive introduction to Microsoft 365 Copilot and agents, explaining their architecture, capabilities, licensing models, deployment strategies, and practical use cases

Module 5. Perform basic administrative tasks for Microsoft 365 Copilot
This module guides administrators on how to manage Microsoft 365 Copilot, including licensing and access control, billing and usage monitoring, prompt governance, and strategies for tracking and driving user adoption

Module 6. Perform basic administrative tasks for Microsoft 365 Copilot agents
This module guides administrators through configuring user access and permissions for agents, creating, editing, testing, and publishing Copilot agents, managing agent approval and governance, and monitoring the full lifecycle of agents using Microsoft 365 and Power Platform tools

Final Exam
To earn your certification from Lumo365 Academy, you must successfully pass the Final Exam at the end of the course. This exam is designed to evaluate your understanding of the key concepts, skills, and modules covered throughout the training program. A minimum score of 80% is required to pass the Final Exam. Students who do not meet this passing score will need to review the course material and retake the exam in order to qualify for certification. You are allowed a maximum of 3 retake attempts only. Upon achieving a passing score of 80% or higher, you will be awarded your official Lumo365 Academy certification, recognizing your successful completion of the program and your demonstrated competency in the subject matter.
